Dr. Jon Douglas serves as an Assistant Professor and Audiologist at the University of South Florida (USF) Hearing Clinic in Tampa, FL, specializing in tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia management, pediatric audiology, hearing technology, and vestibular evaluations. With over 16 years of academic and clinical experience, Dr. Douglas is deeply committed to providing evidence-based audiological care that improves the lives of patients affected by hearing and sound sensitivity disorders.
Before joining USF, Dr. Douglas was a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he founded and directed the University of Wisconsin’s Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, and Misophonia Program. His leadership extended to mentoring future audiologists as the MCH LEND Audiology Training Coordinator at the Waisman Center, where he cultivated the next generation of professionals dedicated to improving hearing health.
Dr. Douglas completed his externship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in 2006. His approach to audiology is rooted in compassion, thoroughness, and a commitment to using the latest research and technology to ensure his patients receive the best possible care.
