Insurance Information

At the University of South Florida Hearing Clinic, we are committed to making high-quality hearing and balance care accessible. We accept a wide range of insurance plans to support your needs in audiology, hearing aids, tinnitus care, misophonia, hyperacusis, and vestibular evaluationsTypically insurance will cover the cost of the tinnitus, hearing, vestibular, and misophonia evaluations. Tinnitus and misophonia management services, including consultations and sound generator programming, are not typically covered by insurance. You will be responsible for the costs of these services that are not covered by insurance as we will not bill insurance for management services. If your private insurance company offers hearing aid coverage, we will work with them to ensure payment. However, patients are responsible for understanding details of coverage and hearing aids or sound generators will not be dispensed until full payment is received.
