A healthy lifestyle plays a big role in managing tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia. One of the easiest ways I set the tone for my day is with a smoothie; it’s my go-to morning ritual. I make a batch of five at the start of the week so I have one ready for each workday. I store them in mason jars in the fridge, and just grab one on my way out. If you’ve got a Vitamix, blending everything is a breeze.

Place all the items in the blender and blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator for up to five days.

If I want to boost my anti-inflammatory foods, I will add ginger, turmeric, and some black pepper, which gives it a nice kick.
